Accurx - the GP online system
For non-urgent medical or administrative help, you can use our GP online system (Accurx) to request things like a sick note. This allows you to share symptoms, ask questions, or request advice without calling or visiting in person.
Each submission is reviewed by the Duty Doctor during normal hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 6:30pm. You will receive a response via text, directly from a GP, or from our Reception Team, depending on urgency and demand.
Learn more about Accurx and Accurx Scribe
What is Accurx?
Accurx is an easy-to-use platform where patients and healthcare professionals communicate.
How our clinicians use Accurx AI Scribe during appointments?
At Woodhouse Health Centre, we’re committed to combining compassionate care with innovative technology. That’s why we’ve introduced an AI scribe to support our clinicians during appointments.
What is Accurx AI Scribe?
An AI scribe is a secure digital assistant that listens to the conversation between you and your clinician (with your consent) during face-to-face appointments and automatically creates a structured, accurate summary of the appointment.
Why are we using Accurx AI Scribe?
The AI scribe allows our clinicians to:
- Focus fully on you rather than typing notes during your appointment
- Improve the accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Spend more time on personalised care, and less on administration
How this helps you
- You’ll have your clinician’s full attention
- Your medical records will be updated more quickly and accurately
- Everything discussed will be securely and confidentially recorded using NHS-grade data protection standards
Your privacy comes first
The AI scribe does not make clinical decisions. All documentation is reviewed and approved by your clinician. We’ll always ask for your consent before using the scribe in your appointment, and you can opt out at any time. This is just one of the ways we’re working to give you a more connected, efficient, and patient-centred experience.
