Our Social Media Presence

Our Practice may use social media platforms (such as Facebook, X/Twitter, or YouTube) to share general updates, health information, and service announcements.  These channels are not monitored continuously and should never be used for clinical queries or urgent medical needs.

Protecting Your Confidentiality

Your privacy is extremely important to us.

We will never discuss individual patient care or personal information on social media.

We also ask that patients do not post personal medical details or sensitive information on our social media pages.

Patients are not permitted to disclose any patient-identifiable information about other patients.

If you have a concern about your care, please contact the Practice directly so we can support you properly.

 

Comments, Messages and Reviews

Defamatory comments about member(s) of our Practice staff are not to be shared on any social media platform.  Legal advice will be sought and the appropriate action taken against any patient who posts defamatory comments.

We welcome constructive feedback, but to protect your confidentiality:

  • We cannot respond to clinical questions on social media;
  • We cannot discuss personal medical issues publicly;
  • We may invite you to contact the Practice privately if you raise a concern.

If you leave a review on a public platform, please avoid sharing personal health information.  We will only respond in a way that protects your privacy.

 

Inappropriate or Abusive Content

To maintain a respectful environment for everyone, we may remove or report:

  • Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory comments;
  • Posts containing personal information about staff or patients;
  • Misleading medical information;
  • Spam or promotional content.

We reserve the right to block users who repeatedly breach these standards.

 

Photographs and Videos

Please do not take any photographs or videos inside the Practice without permission from a member of the Management Team.  We will never share images of patients without explicit written consent.

 

Staying Informed

Our social media pages are used for:

  • Health campaigns;
  • Service updates;
  • Opening hours changes;
  • Community information.

They are not a substitute for medical advice.

 

How to Raise Concerns

If you have feedback, a complaint, or a concern about your care, please contact the Practice directly.  This ensures your issue is handled safely, confidentially, and in line with NHS complaints procedures.
